West Hartford Rape Suspect, TV Installer Pleads Guilty to Charges

A man accused of raping a West Hartford woman last year has been sentenced to jail.

WEST HARTFORD, CT - A man accused of raping a West Hartford woman plead guilty under the Alford doctrine Tuesday, according to the Hartford Courant.

Rashford Gordon, 40, of Bloomfield is charged with raping the victim after installing a television service in her home, the Hartford Courant reported. The incident allegedly occurred in March 2015.

At the time of the incident, Gordon admitted to sexual content with the woman but claimed it was consensual, according to the Hartford Courant. The suspect was sentenced to just shy of five years in prison under the plea.
