West Hartford Resident Nominated to Superior Court

John Farley of West Hartford was nominated by Gov. Malloy for a judgeship.

Gov. Dannel Malloy has nominated four to fill judge vacancy spots in the Superior Court.

Alex Bruno of New Britain has been a bar member for 34 years and recently served as special counsel to the Secretary of the State. He was also deputy chief clerk in the New Haven Judicial District and a magistrate in the Superior Court presiding over housing, motor vehicle and small claims matters.

John Farley of West Hartford is a partner in the Halloran & Sage LLP. firm and co-chairs the Appellate Practice Group and Business Litigation Practice Group.

“I am honored that Governor Malloy has nominated me to be a judge of the Superior Court and I thank the governor for the trust he has placed in me,” Farley said. “If confirmed, I will work hard to fulfill that trust by serving the citizens of Connecticut with dedication and impartiality.”

Gerald Harmon of Southington is the principle of the Law Offices of Gerald L. Harmon and has practice criminal defense and civil litigation for over 15 years.

“I am both honored and humbled by the nomination to the State Superior Court and look forward to serving as an advocate for justice and fairness for all parties that come before me,” Harmon said.

Edward Krumeich II of Greenwich is a member of the law firm of Ivey, Barnum and O’Mara and has experience in commercial, construction and real estate litigation in state and federal courts. he also served as special master mediating special proceeding in Stamford Superior Court.
