Classmate Samantha Cozzolino, of Hamden, also tallied three points and became the eighth player in program history to join the 100-point club.

The Owls improved to 3-5 (2-3 in the NE-10) with the win, while AIC fell to 3-6 (0-5 NE-10). Read more on the win from SCSU Athletics below:

AIC scored less than a minute later to get back within two, but Healey, Portelinha and Prindle-Nelson potted goals in a span of 32 seconds to build an 11-6 lead, and the Owls never led by fewer than three the rest of the way.
