West Hartford Restaurant Fined, Suspended By State For Violations: State
The well-known eatery will not be able to sell alcohol on site for two days next week.
WEST JARTFORD, CT — A bar/restaurant in Hartford will not be able to sell liquor for a couple of days next week after the state suspended its liquor license.
According to the state Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission, The Elbow Room, located at 986 Farmington Ave., West Hartford, was cited by state officials.
The state ruled that the eatery violated statutes regarding brawls, disturbances, gambling, and conduct at establishments.

In addition, it ruled that the Elbow Room must pay a $3,000 fine, which the restaurant has paid.
The restaurant will not be able to sell alcohol on its site on Tuesday, Jan. 20, and Wednesday, Jan. 21, according to the state.
