West Hartford Schools Seek Volunteers For Summer Program

The program for students in grades K-8 will be at the Hillcrest Area Neighborhood Outreach Center in West Hartford.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — School may be out for summer, but the West Hartford School System is still operating in some capacity and it's looking for volunteers to help out.

West Hartford Public Schools recently issued a request for summer volunteers to help teachers with the Summer Enrichment Program that takes place from June 24 to July 18.

The program for students in grades K-8 will be at the Hillcrest Area Neighborhood Outreach Center, 105 Hillcrest Ave., West Hartford.

It will operate on weekdays from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m. during that time period.

Volunteers will assist teachers and work with pupils taking the summer classes.
