West Hartford Seeks Input On Senior Housing
The town has set up an online survey about senior housing locally, with folks having until Feb. 10 to respond.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The Town of West Hartford is conducting a community survey to help inform and guide the preparation of a Senior Housing Plan.
This effort seeks to further many of the goals and strategies outlined in the Plan of Conservation and Development.

As a result, residents are asked to help by completing this short survey and/or providing the town with feedback: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/XCJ236C
“This survey will help gather information on demographics, community housing needs, and preferences for West Hartford’s Senior population. We want to hear from this particular group because we recognize that their housing needs are unique and may not be fully served today," Hartford Mayor Shari Cantor said in a statement.

"The results will be utilized to guide the preparation of a Senior Housing Plan, which will help to inform future housing policies that can support those unique needs into the future.”
The survey may be completed and comments submitted by February 10, 2026.
