West Hartford Seniors Can Learn About Health-Care Services
West Hartford Senior Citizens Advisory Commission meets on Tuesday, Nov. 19, with two guests expected to offer presentations.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local seniors and their loved ones are invited to the West Hartford Senior Citizens Advisory Commission meeting next week to learn about future services they may require.
The commission meets on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Bishops Corner Senior Center, 15 Starkel Road, West Hartford.
From 10 to 11 a.m., there will be a special presentation on “Services You May Need As You Age.”

Christine Huebner, audiologist, of Hartford HealthCare, will discuss the types of hearing loss, causes, and treatment options.
Also expected is Andrea Giudice of The Hospital Bed Project, which allows seniors, disabled and recuperating loved ones to enjoy life within the comforts of their home.
