WEST HARTFORD, CT — Two new tenants — a hot yoga studio and a trading card retailer — are set to open in 2026 at Blue Back Square, expanding the lifestyle center’s mix of wellness and specialty retail.

Property owner Brand Street Properties announced Wednesday that Sweatfluence and Monmouth Trading Cards will join the development in West Hartford, located at 65 Memorial Road.

Sweatfluence, a Connecticut-born hot yoga and wellness brand, plans to open in summer 2026.

The studio will offer music-driven Vinyasa-style yoga classes in an infrared-heated environment designed to promote strength, energy, and detoxification.

Classes will be open to participants of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.

“Blue Back Square continues to evolve as a hub for health, community, and everyday experiences,” said Connor Nolan, vice president of leasing at Brand Street Properties. “The addition of Sweatfluence reflects the strong demand for wellness-focused concepts that bring people together in meaningful ways.”

Another tenant, Monmouth Trading Cards, will bring a hobby-focused retail experience centered on sports and gaming collectibles.

Founded in New Jersey, the retailer specializes in sports cards, Pokémon cards, and other major trading card games.

The shop will offer individual cards, sealed products, grading submissions, and “live break” events, along with in-store gatherings aimed at collectors and newcomers.

“Monmouth Trading Cards adds an exciting experiential retail component to Blue Back Square,” Nolan said. “It’s another example of how the property continues to grow in ways that serve a wide range of interests, from fitness and wellness to hobbies and family-friendly activities.”

Monmouth is expected to open sometime in 2026.

The additions reflect the property’s strategy of expanding beyond traditional retail to include wellness services and interactive shopping experiences, officials said.
