West Hartford Teen Girl Found Safe: Police: UPDATE

According to the West Hartford Police Department, the 14-year-old was last seen leaving her home Tuesday at approximately 3 p.m.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local police had some good news to report Thursday morning as the 14-year-old local girl reported missing Tuesday has been found and is safe.

The West Hartford Police Department said the teen was located and, eventually, reunited with her family.

"We’d like to thank our community and media partners for their assistance," wrote West Hartford Police Department Capt. Daniel Moffo Thursday morning.

Local police were asking for the public's help in searching for her as she was last seen leaving her home Tuesday at approximately 3 p.m.

Since being reported missing, the girl has been the subject of a Silver Alert, she’s been entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), and other law enforcement agencies were notified of the information.
