West Hartford Theater Group Selling Tickets For 2023-24 Season

WEST HARTFORD, CT — While its 14th season is winding down, the West Hartford-based Playhouse on Park theater group is already selling tickets for Season 15.

And the theme for the 15th season is one word: "Celebration."

It all begins Sept. 27 with "The Complete Works of Jane Austen (Abridged)" and ends in spring 2024 with "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" for young audiences.

In the spring, patrons and friends from the Playhouse on Park community tuned in for Playhouse’s Season 15 virtual reveal event in-person and via livestream.

It was announced by Playhouse on Park Executive Director Tracy Flater and Co-Artistic Directors Sean Harris and Darlene Zoller.

“Celebration” is the theme of Playhouse on Park’s 15th season, another season of high hopes following Covid pandemic impacts that decimated the arts scene nationally.

"After all, there is a lot to celebrate. Playhouse on Park has persevered whilst enduring challenges amidst the successes to reach their 15th season," wrote Playhouse on Park officials. "The theater community as a whole is celebrating the return to live theater."

Subscriptions are now on sale for Playhouse on Park’s 15th Main Stage Season with subscribers saving 20 percent over individual ticket prices.
