West Hartford Theater Group Unveils Details Of Massive Fundraiser

WEST HARTFORD — Details have now been unveiled regarding a local West Hartford theater group's massive annual fundraiser.

Playhouse on Park will hold its annual fundraiser, “Encore! On Tap,” on June 13 at New Park Brewing in West Hartford, with tickets and sponsorship opportunities now available.

The event, scheduled from 6 p.m. to midnight, is billed as the theater’s largest fundraiser of the year and has previously been recognized among the top three charity events in the Hartford area.

Proceeds support the organization’s mission to produce professional theater and provide arts education through its Playhouse Theatre Academy.

Organizers said the evening will include a cocktail reception with two hours of open bar and hors d’oeuvres, dinner, auctions, live performances, dancing, and late-night food.

Benefactor-level ticket holders will also have access to a VIP reception beginning at 5 p.m.

Early-bird ticket pricing is available through May 1, with discounted rates for attendees under 40, as well as patron and benefactor tiers and table packages.

Prices increase after that date. A limited number of discounted under-40 tickets is available through sponsorship support.

In addition to ticket sales, the organization is seeking event sponsors and donations for its online, silent, and live auctions.

Donors will receive a tax receipt and recognition across event materials and platforms.

The fundraiser will also serve as an opportunity for attendees to learn about upcoming productions and future plans for the theater.
