West Hartford: Your 2014 Midterm Election Results
Here's how West Hartford voted in Tuesday's election.

The results are in and Gov. Dannel P. Malloy officially won reelection Wednesday and the majority of West Hartford voters cast their ballots in favor of him over challenger Tom Foley.
In West Hartford, Malloy received 14,798 votes to Foley’s 8,787.
In the First U.S. Congressional District, incumbent Democrat John B. Larson won reelection with a victory over Republican Matthew M. Corey and Green Party candidate Jeffrey Russell.

West Hartford voted in favor of Larson, 15,923 to 7,011 over Corey. Russell received 366 votes.
In the Fifth State Senate District (which covers Bloomfield, Burlington, Farmington, and West Hartford), incumbent Democrat Beth Bye defeated Republican Bill Wadsworth 22,942 to 15,435.

In West Hartford, Bye received 15,801 votes and Wadsworth had 7,567.
In the 18th District of the State House of Representatives, incumbent Democrat Andrew M. Fleischmann ran unopposed and received 6,413 votes.
For the 19th District (which covers Avon, Farmington and West Hartford) incumbent Democrat Brian Becker defeated Republican Mark Zydanowicz 6,142 to 4,580.
In West Hartford, Becker received 4,776 votes and Zydanowicz had 3,151.
In the 20th District, incumbent Democrat Joe Verrengia ran unopposed and received 5,271 votes.
While the state constitutional amendment question appeared to have failed (final numbers weren’t in as of Wednesday night), voters in West Hartford voted in favor of it by a 12,586 to 8,484 vote.
