West Hartford's Ice Rink Closed For Maintenance

It closes Saturday and it will reopen in September.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The town's beloved indoor ice skating facility will be shut down for two weeks starting Saturday, Aug. 27, for routine maintenance and upgrades.

The Veterans Memorial Skating Rink at 56 Buena Vista Road hosts public skating sessions, learn-to-skate classes for all ages, private instruction for children and adults, hockey skill lessons, special hockey and figure skating camps, hockey leagues and the West Hartford Figure Skating Club.

In addition, it is the home ice for both Conard and Hall high schools.

The rink, operated by West Hartford Leisure Services, will be closed through Saturday, Sept. 10.
