West Hartford's Mike Michaud Receives MVP Community Award from Myra Kraft Foundation

Former Patriots linebacker Niko Koutouvides presented $10,000 grant to The Miracle League of CT as part of award.

The Miracle League of CT got a special visit from former New England Patriots linebacker Niko Koutouvides on Saturday, Sept. 13.

Koutouvides was on hand to present a commemorative check from The New England Patriots Charitable Foundation to Miracle League of CT President, Mike Michaud, who was a 2014 recipient of an MVP Community Award from The Myra Kraft Foundation.

The Miracle League of CT received a $10,000 grant as part of the award and Michaud was honored to accept it on The Miracle League’s behalf.

The New England Patriots Foundation had goody bags with a signed photo of Koutouvides, who pitched during the game and stayed for the whole event and signed autographs, a fun day was had by all.

The Miracle League of CT is a baseball league for children ages 4 to 18 with physical and cognitive difficulties. The league plays on a wheelchair accessible rubberized field with no raised surfaces.
