West Hartford's Park Road 'Happy Hour' Series Returns Next Week

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The Park Road Association's "Park After Dark" community happy hour series will continue Monday with an evening of food, drinks, and neighborhood networking at Salt + Lime Mexican Cantina.

The event is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, at Salt + Lime, 179 Park Road in West Hartford.

Anyone who supports the Park Road neighborhood is welcome to attend, according to the association.

Organizers particularly encouraged Park Road business owners and employees, as well as neighborhood residents, to participate.

The gathering is intended to allow neighbors, business representatives, and other community members to meet, catch up, and hear updates about the Park Road area. Attendees can also speak with members of the Park Road Association.

Organizers said the evening offers another way to connect with the association for people unable to attend its monthly meetings, which are held at 8:30 a.m.

Monday's event will include giveaways, happy hour menu offerings and pricing through closing, along with a new specialty cocktail and sharing menu.

The Park Road Association works to improve quality of life in the neighborhood through community events, business promotion, and efforts focused on the area's appearance and safety.
