West Hartford's Senior Picnic Showcases Summer Fare
Tickets are going fast for the July 14 event at West Hartford Town Hall.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — July's biggest holiday may be over with, but the celebrating doesn't stop next week.
That's because West Hartford's two senior centers are collaborating on the town's annual Senior Picnic, a fun, summer tradition set to take place Wednesday, July 14, at West Hartford Town Hall, located at 50 S. Main St.
The annual Senior Picnic will feature traditional favorites provided by West Hartford police officers, such as Hebrew National hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, coleslaw and dessert.

Tickets for the picnic are $5 for members of either the town's Bishops Corner or Elmwood senior centers and $8 for non-members.
Tickets are limited to 200 and they will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Entertainment will be provided by the "Survivor Swing Band."
Pre-registration is required and cash or checks payable to West Hartford Senior Centers can be dropped off in-person at either Bishops Corner, 15 Starkel Road, or Elmwood, 1106 New Britain Ave., 2nd Floor.
