West Hartford's Town Clerk To Retire: Report
The issue will be on the agenda of the Jan. 24 West Hartford Town Council meeting.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The town has confirmed Wednesday morning the upcoming retirement of West Hartford Town Clerk Essie Labrot.
The Town of West Hartford Facebook page confirmed the announcement and posted a link to we-ha.com, which posted an in-depth report on the retirement.
According to we-ha.com, Labrot, a Democrat, will retire in April after being West Hartford's town clerk since being elected to role in 2007.

Democratic Councilman Leon Davidoff, reportedly, will finish Labrot's term as town clerk and he is expected to resign from the town's top governing body, we-ha.com reported.
That means the local Democratic party will have to pick someone to fill Davidoff's seat, with the full council, eventually, appointing Davidoff's replacement.

Accepting the retirement letter and other necessary actions are expected to be on the West Hartford Town Council's Tuesday, Jan. 24, agenda.
That's when the council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at West Hartford Town Hall, 50 S. Main St.
