West Hartford's Veterans To Be Honored With Special Breakfast

The event is on Thursday, Nov. 7, with registration required by Tuesday, Nov. 5. It is free for veterans.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The same week the nation will flex its democratic muscle at the polls, the local senior center is hosting a special breakfast to honor those who helped make it happen.

The Elmwood Senior Center, 1106 New Britain Ave., is hosting a Veterans Breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 7, before the Veterans Day holiday four days later.

It will take place from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the senior center and it will feature entertainment by Richard Franklin Donohue a musician who will perform his show called “What a Glorious Crash They Made: Musick of Connecticut’s Revolution.”

Registration is required by calling 860-561-8180 by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5. The breakfast is free for West Hartford veterans. Their guests pay $5.
