Whole Foods Closing Location In West Hartford
The company is planning on closing one of its West Hartford locations.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Whole Foods Market will close its Bishops Corner location in West Hartford and move to a space in Avon space, NBC Connecticut reported. The new store will be in Avon Village Center.
It's expected that employees will have the option transfer to the new store, which should add around 50 new jobs, according to WFSB.
It's unclear when the move will occur. The new store is about five miles away from the current location.

Whole Foods will still operate its other West Hartford location in Blue Back Square. The Hartford Courant reports, citing sources, that the company could expand the Blue Back Square location to accommodate Bishops Corner customers after that location closes.
