WHPD Rookies Place First And Second In Grad Class
Both are now in field training after being the top two trainees at their recently completed police academy session.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Two rookie West Hartford Police Department officers have started field training locally after graduating among their class' best at the police academy.
The WHPD said officers Caitlyn Bilodeau and Kendall Weake recently graduated from the Waterbury Police Academy.
And, according to police officials, both come into their local training period with honors.

Police said Weake received the Stokes Award for the highest GPA in class and the Mendelssohn Award as the best overall recruit. That honor requires a nomination from staff/peers.
Weake was also nominated as a class speaker, according to the WHPD.

Bilodeau, meanwhile, was second overall in GPA, separated only by 0.4 points, putting the WHPD first and second out of 33 recruits in the training session.
Both are now working in the patrol division and have started their field training and evaluation period.
