Woman Gives Birth Along I-84 in West Hartford Monday Morning
The expectant parents were on their way to the University of Connecticut Health Center when the baby decided it was time to enter the world.
A baby was born along the highway between exits 43 and 44 on I-84 in West Hartford this morning, according to the Hartford Courant.
The Courant reports that state police, West Hartford police and American Medical Response paramedics were called to I-84 at about 11 a.m. Monday but then they arrived the woman had already given birth to a healthy baby. The expectant parents had been on the way to the University of Connecticut Health Center, according to the Courant.
