Woman Had 152 Bags of Heroin, Gun in Car: Police

The woman was arrested after being pulled over for a traffic violation Sunday in West Hartford.

A Bristol woman faces several charges after police say she was found to be in possession of 152 bags of heroin and a gun during a traffic stop Sunday in West Hartford.

Michelle Larose, 44, of 23 Central Avenue, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation around 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13.

During the stop, police said Larose was found to be in possession of 152 bags of heroin, a crack pipe and a 22-caliber pistol.

Larose was arrested on charges of illegal possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal manufacture, distribution, sale of prescription drugs, weapons in a motor vehicle, carrying a gun without a permit, and restricted turns fail signal.

She was held on a $75,000 bond and is due in court on Dec. 22.
