Woman Hit By Car, Then Cited By Police: WeHa PD
The West Hartford Police Department is investigating the incident, which took place late Wednesday morning.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local police are investigating a vehicle-versus-pedestrian incident that injured a woman on North Main Street in West Hartford late Wednesday morning.
According to the West Hartford Police Department on Thursday, the incident happened at 11:44 a.m. near 333 N. Main St.
Police said first responders provided medical aid to the adult female pedestrian, who was transported to an area hospital for further treatment and evaluation.

According to police, the pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
As a result of the crash, North Main Street was briefly closed in both directions between Sims Road and Albany Avenue while the investigation was underway.

This incident is being investigated by the West Hartford Police Department Traffic Division.
As a result of the initial investigation, the pedestrian was issued an infraction ticket for reckless use of the highway by a pedestrian.
