Work of West Hartford Art League Member Anne H. Brock on Display at Duncaster Art Gallery throughout December

WEST HARTFORD, CT, Nov. 17, 2014 – The work of West Hartford Art League member Anne H. Brock will be on display during the month of December at Duncaster Retirement Community. There will be an opening reception at Duncaster for the exhibit on Sunday, December 7 from 4- 5:30 PM. The exhibit will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. until December 31.

A native of Bloomfield, Brock has been a professional painter for over 40 years. She obtained a B.A. degree in Art from Brown University and has completed art courses at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School, Castle Hill Center for the Arts, and Cape Cod School of Art. Brock is also a member of the Provincetown Art Association and founding member of the Truro Group. Her work has been displayed in collections including the Three-Woman show, Center for Creative Arts, Truro Public Library, and Hartford’s Town & County Club.

Duncaster has been showcasing Connecticut artists for more than 14 years.

Attendance at the Opening Reception is free and open to the public, but advanced registration is required. Visitors are also welcome to visit the exhibit weekdays from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. through the month of November.
