Young Entrepreneurs To Sell Wares In West Hartford
A local organization is hosting its annual 'Entrepreneurial Market' at West Hartford Town Hall for youths aged 8-18.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — The West Hartford Town Hall parking lot on Saturday, Oct. 14, will be the scene of a rather unique market where folks can buy items from the town's youngest and brightest.
Sponsored by West Hartford-based Nextgen Innovators, a local organization dedicated to helping young people learn and practice basic business practices, the event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
West Hartford Town Hall is located at 50 S. Main St., West Hartford.

There, guests will be able to purchase a wide array of products produced and sold by area residents aged 8-18, with a diversity of items on the agenda.
The annual event was formerly called the "Pop-Up Market," but it is now referred to as the "Entrepreneurial Market."

Because the event features young entrepreneurs, guests are asked to bring cash to go shopping, something that might be necessary given the proximity of the end-of-the-year holidays.
Weather, however, could play a factor, as rain is forecast.
Should the forecast remain steady and rain were to fall, the event will be pushed back a day to Sunday, Oct. 15, from 3 to 6 p.m.
