1 Killed In Fiery Crash On I-95 In West Haven: State Police
A vehicle was stopped in the median and was struck from behind by another vehicle, according to State Police.

WEST HAVEN, CT — An unknown passenger in a 1970 Plymouth Duster was killed in an accident on Interstate 95 northbound around 11 p.m. Saturday, according to State Police.
The Plymouth Duster was stopped in the median on I-95 northbound prior to exit 42. A 2009 Honda Accord driven by a Milford woman was traveling northbound and "moved into the median where it rear-ended Vehicle #1," State Police said.
"As a result of the impact, Vehicle #1 became engulfed in flames. The unidentified front passenger of Vehicle #1 was pronounced deceased on scene," State Police said in an accident summary.

The drivers of both vehicles were taken to Yale New Haven Hospital for further medical treatment. The name of the person who died will be released after the family is notified, State Police said.
Any witnesses or anyone that may have any information regarding this incident is asked to contact Trooper Khariton #1433 from the Troop G barracks at 203.696.2500. This case remains under investigation.
