A West Haven resident recently won a $100,000 prize, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
WEST HAVEN, CT — A West Haven resident recently won $100,000 on a Powerball ticket that was sold in West Haven, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
The resident, who wished to remain anonymous, bought that winning ticket at Julia’s Market at 949 Boston Post Rd. in West Haven, according to Lottery officials.
The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scam, according to officials.
