$100K Lottery Winner Sold In West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — Two West Haven residents recently won more than $130,000 in prizes on lottery tickets that were sold in the city, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

One resident won $100,000 on a CASH 5 ticket that was sold at Spirits Of West Haven at 904 Ocean Ave. in West Haven, according to Lottery officials.

Another resident won $30,385 on a FAST PLAY - $2 STACKS OF CA$H PROGRESSIVE ticket that was sold at Green Fuel LLC at 540 Boston Post Road in West Haven.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scam, according to officials.
