107-Year-Old Business Moves Out Of West Haven
The company is also planning an expansion too in its new home.

EAST HAVEN, CT — Anthony Augliera Moving, Storage & Theatrical Transfer, a business that began more than 107 years ago, was located for the majority of that time in West Haven. Recently East Haven Mayor Joseph Maturo, Jr. and Economic Development Director, Sal Brancati welcomed this long-established business to the Town’s Industrial Park at 158 Commerce Street.
The companyhas now transferred its entire operation to this location, which included occupancy of an existing 45,000 square foot building and the completion of a newly constructed 12,000 sq. foot building, that will be used for all truckand equipment maintenance.
In addition, in the very near future, Augliera will also add another 40,000 square feet to the larger structure. Recently the East Haven Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting.
