2 Parents, 3 Juveniles Arrested After Fights Break Out At West Haven High School: Police
A stay-in-place order was issued at the school, according to police.
WEST HAVEN, CT — Five people, including two parents and three juveniles, were arrested after several fights broke out at West Haven High School on Wednesday morning, according to police.
The incident prompted a stay-in-place order at the school.
The fights involved three girls and two women, according to Sgt. Scott Allard.

Allard said two parents of the juveniles involved arrived at the school and “began causing a disturbance while attempting to involve themselves in the altercations.”
“Due to the violent and tumultuous behavior displayed by both the juveniles and adults involved, a shelter-in-place was implemented to ensure the safety of students and staff inside the school,” Allard wrote in a news release.

No injuries were reported, according to Allard.
“This type of behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” Allard wrote.
