The open house is part of the Resilient Cove River Project, which explores opportunities to restore the river corridor from the Maltby Lakes to the lower Lake Phipps area, addressing long-standing flooding challenges and improving habitat while enhancing public access to the river.

Building on information and community input gathered throughout the project, the project team will present the final concept designs for public review, depicting proposed flood mitigation measures and areas for habitat restoration and public access.

The event will provide residents with an opportunity to learn about the project, review concept designs and provide feedback, ask questions and engage with the project team, and share what they value about the Cove River and what they want to see improved.

The open house is the final public engagement opportunity for residents to help shape the Cove River’s future. Input gathered at the event will play a key role in refining design concepts and ensuring the project reflects local priorities and values.

Residents are invited to drop in at any time during the open house hours.
