Rose DeFelice Ferriolo, 74, beloved wife of William F. Ferriolo of East Haven, passed away June 12, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Loving mother of Peter Barone, Jr. and Leah (Tim McNulty) Ferriolo all of East Haven and the late Tracy Barone. Cherished grandmother of Peter Barone III. Caring sister of Paula Esposito and Frank DeFelice, Jr. both of East Haven and Laura DeFelice of Hamden. She also leaves her best friend Patricia Badiali of East Haven.
Rose was born in New Haven on June 18, 1951 a daughter of the late Frank and Ida Giacomini DeFelice. Prior to her retirement, she worked for Teamsters Union Local 443 for many years.
Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial THURSDAY MORNING at 11:00 in the St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org.
