WEST HAVEN, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced lane closures that will be in effect for surveying operations that will take place between Exits 42 and 43 on I-95 in West Haven this week.
The project is scheduled to start on Tuesday, Aug. 11 and be completed on Thursday, Aug. 14, according to officials.
The project consists of the construction of "auxiliary lanes in both directions on I-95 between Exits 42 and 43 in West Haven to improve traffic operations and reduce congestion issues," according to an advisory.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be lane closures on I-95 in West Haven between Exits 42 and 43, Tuesday, Aug. 11 to Thursday, Aug. 14, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Traffic control, signing patterns and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
