WEST HAVEN, CT — (Pictured): Longtime city resident Winniefred Vera Nacca celebrates her 95th birthday with Mayor Dorinda Borer on Friday.
Nacca received an official citation from Borer for "the many lives you have touched over nine decades."
Born Winniefred Vera, she grew up in Orange before moving to West Haven in 1955 with her husband, Vincent Nacca.
"May you continue to enjoy good health and much happiness as a nonagenarian and as a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and dedicated volunteer," said Borer, reading the citation.
