UPDATE: The two-alarm fire was brought under control around noon, according to fire officials.
(Original post) WEST HAVEN, CT — Police are advising motorists to avoid the area of Saw Mill Road between Railroad Avenue and Elm Street due to a structure fire.
"All three fire districts are currently on scene working an active structure fire," police wrote in a post on Facebook.
"Please use an alternate route and use caution in the surrounding area."
