Back To School: West Haven 2023-24 School Calendar

WEST HAVEN, CT — Back-to-school planning has already begun in West Haven, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in West Haven Public Schools.

The first day of school for most students in West Haven is Aug. 28, according to the 2023-24 district school calendar.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 22 (early dismissal) through Nov. 24

Winter Break: Dec. 22 (early dismissal) through Jan. 1

Spring Break: April 15 through April 19
