Officials are advising residents that the city's bulk trash pickup is behind schedule in several districts.

WEST HAVEN, CT — Bulk trash pickup is behind schedule in several districts in West Haven, according to officials.

Public Works Commissioner Tom J. McCarthy is notifying West Shore residents that bulk trash pickup is delayed due to a “mechanical failure on a collection truck.”

“Bulk trash pickup in the 7th & 8th districts will be completed later today,” officials wrote in a post on the city’s Facebook page. “Bulk trash pickup in the 9th & 10th districts will be completed by late Wednesday.
