WEST HAVEN, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

This submission comes from Jan Poulsen of West Haven, who nominated Megan Webb and Jeana Carrano – two cousins who are on the front line at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Megan is managing a COVID-19 unit and Jeana is working in the Emergency Department.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your heroes?:
They are cousins, True Blue Westies born, graduated from, and still reside here.
