Daughter Shares Message To West Haven Mom From Air Force Base

WEST HAVEN, CT — Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 this weekend, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across Connecticut to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are, they'll always be your babies! And part of the fun of motherhood is watching your children grow up and enjoy the same things that you love.

Jordyn Sigetti is a Senior Airman in the United States Air Force currently stationed at Dover AFB in Delaware and can’t be with her mother, Rebecca Sigetti of West Haven, this weekend but shares the following message:

“Hi Mama, I’m sorry I can’t be there for Mother’s Day this year, but just know I love and miss you so much. You made me into the woman that I am today and I cannot imagine what my life would be like without you. You are my sunshine Mama, Happy Mother’s Day!”

Jordan shares a photo of her and her mother from when she graduated from Basic Military Training in San Antonio, Texas in June of 2017.
