WEST HAVEN, CT — The West Haven Animal Shelter is asking for help with finding a lost dog's owner. The tan male pit bull-type dog (pictured) was found roaming on Richmond Avenue near Bassett Street, according to officials. He was found wearing a collar that has tags but the phone number is disconnected, officials said. He doesn't have a microchip. "If anyone has any information on who this handsome guy belongs to please call the West Haven Animal Shelter at 203-937-3642 between the hours of 8am and 3pm," the animal shelter wrote in a post on Facebook.
