East Haven's Nick Lamberti Earns Honors

From Southern Connecticut State University: Senior Griffin Bremer (Higganum, Conn.), junior Nick Lamberti (East Haven, Conn.) and sophomore Nate Carney (Bristol, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University baseball team were selected to the NE10 weekly honor roll for their performances in last week's action for the Owls.

Bremer pitched 6.0 innings, recorded seven strikeouts and allowed only one run in his start against No. 5 New Haven.

Lamberti led the Owls last week, posting a .438 average, .500 on base percentage and a .688 slugging percentage, recording six RBI and scoring two runs. He started the week strong going 3-5 with one RBI and scored one run against UNH. In the doubleheader against LIU-Post, he went 4-8, tallied five RBI and scored one run.

Carney hurled seven shutout innings, had four strikeouts and allowed only five hits in his start against LIU-Post.
