Elderly Dog Goes Missing From West Haven Animal Shelter

Officials are asking for help with finding a dog that went missing from the shelter on Friday morning.

WEST HAVEN, CT — The West Haven Animal Shelter is asking residents to be on the lookout for a dog that went missing from the shelter on Friday morning.

“Polly is missing from the shelter!” the animal shelter wrote in a post on Facebook. “This morning while Polly was outside in the dog yard she escaped. Officers have been looking for her with no luck. Polly is a senior chihuahua with one eye and has a hernia bulge on her lower stomach.

“Do not approach her she will run.”
