Garage Bay Leased In West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — A 1,300-square-foot garage bay with outside storage was recently leased in West Haven.

According to a news release provided by Colonial Properties, Inc., the garage bay, located at 295 Front Avenue, was leased to a HVAC contractor for a one-year lease term.

Fred Messore, broker and vice president of Colonial Properties, represented landlord Leo Scillia in the leasing of the building, according to the Orange-based real estate firm.

The sale was among three transactions announced Tuesday by Michael Richetelli, president and designated broker of Colonial Properties.

According to Richetelli, a mixed-use building located at 182 and 184 Elizabeth Street in Derby recently sold for $410,000.

The 7,000-square-foot building located on 0.14 acres was sold by Carmelina Properties, LLC to an investor out of New Haven County. Messore represented the seller and Tony Vitti, also of Colonial Properties, represented the buyer.

The seller was also represented by attorney Paul Begemann of Gesmonde, Pietrosimone & Scrignari, LLC in Hamden, and the buyer was represented by attorney Brian Lema of Berchem Moses P.C. in Milford.

Messore also represented landlord John P. Candelora Revocable Living Trust in the leasing of a 6,200-square-foot freestanding industrial building located at 33 Chestnut Street in Wooster Square, New Haven, to Geronimo Commissary, LLC for a five-year lease term.
