Google Tip Leads to Arrest of West Haven Man on Child Porn Charge: Police
West Haven Police arrested the man following an investigation that was launched after receiving a notification from Google.

WEST HAVEN, CT — A notification from Google helped lead to the arrest of a West Haven man on a possession of child pornography charge, according to police.
West Haven Police arrested Christopher Creta, 35, following an investigation that began in September 2015 after police were contacted by Google noting that child pornography was being downloaded to a Gmail account.
Working with State Police and The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, West Haven Police executed search and seizure warrants and traced the account to Creta.

Police said his account revealed several pictures of girls between the ages of 6-12 performing lewd acts on adult males or posing with exposed genitals.
Creta was arrested and charged with illegal possession of child pornography. He was held on a $25,000 bond.
