Is the nominee considered an “essential worker”?:

Yes

What does the nominee do for work?:
Yale New Haven Hospital St. Raphael’s campus

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
He has been working on a covid+ unit for weeks, now. I’m an outpatient nurse, myself, but he is risking his well-being to take care of patients and coming home to our young children. He has seen and experienced more since this pandemic broke out, than he has in his 16 years of being a nurse. I have seen him angered, saddened, scared before every shift...but he still shows up and provides the best care he can.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
He is incredibly caring and smart. He is an amazing nurse and any patient he has is lucky to have him.
