Kevin Ward
Is the nominee considered an “essential worker”?:
No
What does the nominee do for work?:
He has organized an entire community to do parades to celebrate all kinds of events. There are fire trucks, muscle cars, jeeps, balloons, gift bags, and signs, and rows and rows of good-hearted people driving by making lots of noise to celebrate an occasion. It has spread to other towns and multiple parades throughout his day, every day.
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
He will not accept any donations and the kindness and support he is displaying daily to many communities is worthy of making a difference.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
People like him have no idea how much they can impact a single person during this crazy time. It gives joy, and joy is something we all could use a little more of right now.
