Juvenile Repeatedly Stabbed at Underage Drinking Party in West Haven: Police
A suspect was located and was hospitalized due to a high level of intoxication, police said.

WEST HAVEN, CT — A juvenile was repeatedly stabbed at an underage drinking party in West Haven, police said Sunday morning.
Police say officers responded at 10:20 p.m. to a York Street address on the report of a stabbing.
Officers arriving learned an underage drinking party had taken place and a stabbing victim was located in backyard of the home, police said.

The victim suffered approximately 4-5 stab wounds to the chest and ribs, police said. He was immediately taken by Fire Department Paramedics to an area hospital.
Police located a suspect near the intersection of York and Collis streets, police said. The suspect is a juvenile and had to be transported to a hospital also due to high level of intoxication, police said.

Both victim and suspect are juveniles and no further information can be released, police said. Detectives are continuing this investigation with arrests pending, police said.
