Multiple lanes are closed and traffic is congested for several miles, according to officials.

WEST HAVEN, CT — Traffic is congested for several miles on I-95 South in West Haven due to emergency maintenance work, according to state transportation officials.
Connecticut State Police said multiple lanes are shut down on I-95 North and South in the area of Exit 42 in West Haven for a gas line repair.
Police are advising motorists to use alternate routes.
