Loaded Gun Falls Out Of Juvenile’s Pants During Arrest: West Haven PD

The juvenile had an outstanding arrest warrant for robbery, according to police.

WEST HAVEN, CT — A loaded gun fell out of a juvenile’s pants when he was being taken into custody on an arrest warrant, according to police.

Police responded around 6:15 p.m. on June 14 to a reported fight on Glade Street between juveniles.

While en route, police said two officers saw a juvenile who they knew had an outstanding arrest warrant for robbery.

The officers converged on the juvenile, and during the arrest, police said a loaded .380-caliber handgun fell out of his pants.

Police said the juvenile was taken into custody without incident and later taken to the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center.
