Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Child Relative: West Haven Police
The man was arrested on a warrant following an investigation that began in October, according to police.

WEST HAVEN, CT — A West Haven man is accused of sexually assaulting a child relative, according to police.
Jose Guadarrama, 30, of Lincoln Place, was arrested by West Haven Police Detectives assigned to the department’s Special Victims Unit, police announced on Wednesday morning.
Police said an investigation began in early October 2016 after WHPD was alerted by the New Haven Police Department of sexual assaults that occurred in New Haven and West Haven by Guadarrama to a child relative victim.

West Haven Police Detectives were able to secure evidence and an arrest warrant, according to police.
Guadarrama was charged with first-degree sexual assault and sexual contact with a minor, police said. He was held on a $250,000 bond.
